shortly after having my thyroid removed due to multinodular disease my lab results indicated slightly elevated bad cholesteral. Good cholesteral was still in the excellent range. The tests were repeated 6 months later and were still elevated so my doctor prescribed RX. I have recently read
thyroid problems are linked to high cholesterol. Should I have my thyroxin dosage scrutinzed more?
I have been putting on weight, can this be due to thyroid?
