my husband fell a few days ago now he has noticed blood in his stool....red and black

bloody stool

i noticed abot two weeks ago i had bloody stool,

i thought it was just my butt hole because its been sore itchy &red that maybe when the stool came out it got scratch.

but to day there was blood liking from the stool all so it surrounded the clumps of stool.

lately my stool has sunk to the bottom it didn't float is that also involved with this?? please help me.

Ok so today while doing #2 I saw plenty of pure bright RED blood in my stool, I know it's too graphic but it freaked me out. So of course I googled it and one of the things that I read was colon cancer due to the lack of any other symptoms of other likely diseases I might have.
