Types of epilepsy
An epileptic seizure is a transient occurrence of signs and or symptoms due to abnormal excessive or synchronous neuronal activity in the brain. Epilepsy is a disorder of the brain characterized by an enduring predisposition to generate epileptic seizures and by the neurobiologic, cognitive, psychological, and social consequences of this condition. The definition of epilepsy requires the occurrence of at least one epileptic seizure.

Systemic Sclerosis is a chronic autoimmune disease of the connective tissue. The localized type of the disease is known as morphea. It leads to hardening and tightening of the skin and connective tissues. Localized disease affects the skin while the generalized one also affects the internal organs like lungs etc. Excessive collagen deposition causes skin and internal organ changes. Many factors, including environmental factors, can lead to immunologic system disturbances and vascular changes. There is multisystem micro vascular inflammation with the generation of Autoantibodies. Disease has sexual preponderance and women are the more frequent victims as compared to male sex. The disease can affect all ages but most commonly begins from 20 to 45 years of age.
