I had surgery last April. I apparently developed an allergy to morphene. Whenever the nurses gave me a shot, I would start to itch. This soon became a common problem.
I developed an allergy to every pain medicine that they prescribed. I just put up with the pain and thought that was the end of the problem. If I didn't take the pain medicine, I would not have a problem.
Wrong!During the summer I started having headaches and started itching again. The problem was that I was not taking any new medicines.
I tried several allergy medicines and nothing seemed to touch the headaches. Around Thanksgiving, I had an appointment with my doctor. We discussed the headaches and itching and he stated that it might be one of the other medicines that I was taking. He suggested stopping several of the medicines.
Success..... sort of
The medicines that made me itch were
Diclofanac
Nexium
Asacol
I stopped taking these but everything new I have prescribed has made me itch. Now even some of the over the counter medicines have started having strange effects on me.
I can take one dose of Tylenol, Alleve, Ibuprofen, and others, but when I take a second dose in 4 - 6 hours, these also make me itch.
I developed pink eye around the first of the year and when a doctor friend tried to prescribe eye drops he mentioned that my body was having an autoimmune reaction. He suggested that I just lay off anything new and things would probably get back to normal.

Here it is June and I still am not able to take medicine for my arthritis, Chron's disease and acid reflux.
Any suggestions?

Hi can anyone help me, the other day i put a red dye on, am naturally dark and i have been dying my hair black for a couple of years the thing is i wanted to try something new but the dye did'nt take and my hair still looks the same colour am a bit confused to why this is. I had a baby 8 weeks ago and heard that pregnancy affects ur hair is this the case can someone please help me on this as i need a change.

i have been told by a few people that women in the first 3 months of their pregnancy shouldnt dye their hair?was just wondering why that is as most people who are telling me dont seem to know why either,just telling me i shouldnt?its just im really worried as i dyed my hair 3 days ago and wasnt told until afterwards that i shouldnt have done and im panicking now and i dont have an appointment with my midwife until 31/08 and cant wait until then to find this out.please help!x
