User :   Hi
Doctor :   hi

User :   regarding infertility
Doctor :
User :   I have gone through semen severe oligospermia
Doctor :
Proceed with your query
Doctor :
User :   and childhood torsion was happened to me.
Doctor :   Ok

User :   last week i had a surgery for testicular fixation and biopsy
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   are u there?

User :   Biopsy is showing spermatocyte arrest as conclusion.. and coming to the details.. occasional spermatozoa and rare
User :   spermatid.
Doctor :   ok

User :   could you please tell me whether this problem will be solved or not?
Doctor :   it can be solved

Doctor :
but you will need to undergo a series of tests before arriving at the right modality of treatment
User :   what are those tests and how much cost?
Doctor :   the tests are regarding sperm motility and they cost around 2000 to 3000
Doctor :
as you must know that all it takes for a pregnancy to occur is one viable sperm
Doctor :
so if your sperms are motile and normal in morphology
Doctor :
there is nothing to worry
User :   in biopsy they are able to see occasional spermatozoa
Doctor :   that is good
Doctor :   there are other associated factors such as hostile vaginal conditions such as high ph and spermicidal agents present could kill any viable sperm which enters the vagina
Doctor :
so i would suggest you get your wife examined as well and then we can arrive at a ideal modality of treatment
User :   wiill that be a problem for next generation?
User :   as per the gynacologist she is perfect..
Doctor :   no i dont think this will affect them in any way

Doctor :   then you need to undergo the tests i had mentioned

User :   my surgery and biopsy were done in Apollo Hospital,
Doctor :   and u must not lose hope pregnancy is very much possible
Doctor :
User :   But Dr is saying that it is risky..
Doctor :   as in

Doctor :
what is risky?
User :   b'cse i am having ocassional spermatozoa..and rare spermatid..
User :   if the sperm is not good that will lead to abnormal baby birth
Doctor :   it is not going to be instant cure but it will happen

Doctor :   we dont know the exact morphology of the sperm

User :   ok
Doctor :   so get the tests done
User :   so in this case how will you retrieve the sperm
User :   normal masturbation?
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :
but in a medical facility
User :   so instead of normal semen analysis you will do in depth observation of sprem
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   individual sperm morphology would be the investigated

Doctor :
is there anything else you would like to know?
User :   But in the semen analysis report.. i got sever ologispermia..means there is no motile smen
Doctor :   no oligospermia means there is less sperms

Doctor :
less number of sperm in the ejaculate of the male or less than 20 million sperm per
Doctor :   milliliter
User :   severe oligospermia ...and they are telling ocassionally sluggish and non motile sperm seeen in entire semen
User :   this is the conclusion of my semen analysis report
User :   the above comment was given at the column of sperm count..
Doctor :   i would suggest u take a opinion of a specialist here is the link
