please describe your symptom in detail
Doctor :
ok
User :   and swelling in the neck area
User :   the swellling also keep coming and going on the sides of theneck
Doctor :
please provide your age, gender, location, height and current weight.
User :   pain is mild but i feel a stiffness in the muscles around thenck area
User :   whole of front and back neck area
Doctor :   did you have any injury or strain in your neck region recently before these symptoms started.
User :   34, female, pune, 5ft 1 inches
User :   weight 55-56
User :   nope
Doctor :
ok
User :   now a days the headache is very frequent...
Doctor :
your weight is ideal for our height, continue to maintain it
User :   at times i feel all ofa sudden so much of strain stretch in the nerves around my head, face
Doctor :
regarding your headache, do you have nausea associated with it?
User :   neareyes, nose
Doctor :
ok
User :   yes now a days at times
Doctor :
do you feel any sensitivity to light or certain situations that lead to these headaches?
User :   my campus doctor has asked me to get a CS xray done
User :   nope
Doctor :
have you been able to figure out over these two months what kind of situations and stressors tend to trigger these headaches?
Doctor :
ok
User :   i am doing some mild frequent neck exercises as well..
Doctor :
better than x-ray will be an MRI as it will show minute soft tissue and nerves details also, which x-ray does not show
Doctor :
ok
User :   no it starts with the shoulders stiffness and neck stiffness first...then i think i constantly keep thinking abt it and headaches starts
Doctor :
do these exercises help?
User :   to an extent
Doctor :
i suggest you to do these exercises once pain is under control
User :   but this stretchy feeling in the nerves around face and neck
Doctor :
and then do these exercises
Doctor :
there can be two possibilities for your symptoms
User :   around jaws, near the ears in the neck
Doctor :
1) migraine type of headache, leading to the pain in neck and other areas
User :   the pain is actually mild..and does not obstruct majoerly in my day today activity..
User :   ok
Doctor :
2) developing cervical spondylosis which also can present with these symptoms.
User :   but doesit hv swelling in the neck
Doctor :
3) cervical disc herniation pressing on the nerves and causing these symptoms
User :   and that pulling and stretchy feeling aorund skull, neck, ears etc
Doctor :
the last two options that i told you can cause some amount of swelling also
Doctor :
which wil vary in size and severity depending on teh severity of the pain
User :   pain behind the eyes,
User :   sides of the face...near ears
Doctor :
pain behind the eyes and in face etc can be due to disc herniation
User :   oh..
Doctor :
and in severe cases of spondylosis
Doctor :
so what i would suggest you is to get an MRI of head and neck done instead of x-ray
User :   ok
Doctor :
which will clearly show the entire extent of the problem
Doctor :
you can get back to me with the reports
User :   ok
Doctor :
or meet and orthopedician in your area of residence
User :   is this something severe to worry
Doctor :
what i would say is the earlier you get teh investigations done to reach to the root of the problem, the faster your treatment can go
Doctor :
and you will get relieved
Doctor :
since your nerve tissue symptoms are more
Doctor :
it indicates that soem nerve is getting affected
Doctor :
and it neds to be decompressed for good and lasting pain relief
User :   oh ok
Doctor :
have you followed what i have said?
User :   sure
Doctor :
Is there any thing else I can help you with?
User :   do you think it canbe cured through some yoga exercises
Doctor :   I can comment on it after seeing the MRI films, as I am not examining you personally, so it is not ethical to comment on this
Doctor :
it depends on the physical examination and imaging findings
User :   ok, sure
User :   can i know your name doctor
Doctor :
to say what line of treatment you should follow
Doctor :
and what best can be done to cure it
Doctor :
