User :   Hi I had vagionaplasty two months ago, I was bleeding right after my surgery and when the bleeding stops I'm having odorless yellowish discharge. I only bled for couple of weeks, but I'm still having the discharge. It's not painful, but I'm not sure if it's safe to have intercourse. Is it normal that I still have the discharge and is it ok to have intercourse?
Doctor :   hi
Doctor :
ok

yellow discharge indicates infection if it is thich

the discharge needs to be examined

Doctor :
also teh area should be examined to see if the stiches have healed well
Doctor :
if there is any problems then the intercourse should be avoided
Doctor :   usually if the lesion/operation site has healed wel, the the intercourse can be resumed in 6 weeks time

avoid intercourse untill
Doctor :
the examination is done

it should be seen from inside or which a special instrument called speculum is needed

Doctor :
along with the culture/sensitivity on the discharge
Doctor :   Is there any thing else I can help you with?
Doctor :
