Doctor :   How can i help you?
User :   I injured my toe the other day at work and I'm not sure if i should go see a doctor.
Doctor :   If you can explain the injury and the wound a little bit more, i can suggest the requirements
User :   I ran over my foot with a pallet XXXXXXXX with about 1000 lbs of pet food on it. And it instantly ripped my toenail off. It happened about 7 days ago and it's still in constant pain. I've rewrapped it every day and soaked it in water. But it still hurts.
Doctor :   Have you got an Xray of the toe ?
User :   No
Doctor :   In a soft tissue injury the pain will not last for more than a week , i suspect a bone injury here as you still have pain
Doctor :   hence i suggest you to get an xray of the toe and then consult the orthopedician for the same with the report
User :   ok... Thank you very much
Doctor :   I would suggest you to get a lateral and a AP view Xrays
Doctor :   Lateral and Anteroposterior view xray
Doctor :   of the toe
User :   ok
Doctor :   Is there anything i can help you with ?
User :   No, That will do... Thank you
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me , kindly provide your feedback
Doctor :   Bye for now
Doctor :   Take care
