User :   my last child I got preg the first wknd of Nov, a blood Dec 23rd showed I wasnt preg.I never had anymore sex after that wknd in Nov.All the texts showed negative and then in January it finally showed that I was pregnant. My dr. told me that I was a rare case wehere the egg and sperm did not "drop" right away any stayed in the fallopian tube longer than uaual and that my body produces such low hcg that's why nothing showed up until January! Now I had sex September 18/19 '10, as of Nov 8th, I will have missed 2 periods.I am EXTEMELY regular and am experiencing all the same symptoms of when I had my other children but the preg tests are still showing negative.Could the same thing be happening again?I am soo very stressed and upest about this and really need some professional advice because I can't get into a dr. for a good 6-8 weeks and I really need to know now!I would appreciate any advice you can give! Also, nothing showed up on an ultrasound until nearly 8 weeks which they said that was extremely "odd"! I even did a paternity test with the father to prove that I never was with anyone except him that last time in Nov, and it came back he WAS the father! What do I do???? Please any advice or explanation you can give me would be greatly appreciated sir! Thank you for your time!

Doctor :   or NOvemebr
User :   what do i do Dr, J? Do you think I may be pregnant?
Doctor :   either Blood or Urine Pregnancy test?
Doctor :   I will clear the thoughts . answer the questions we will get answer
User :   I did one in november and it came up negative....but with my youngest daughter a blood HCG test showed I was NOT preg after 6 weeks but then when I took a test almost 10-11 weeks later, it finally showed up!
Doctor :   DId you had Blood or Urine Pregnancy test in Last month and this month
User :   it was urine
Doctor :   OK

Doctor :   was itpositive?
Doctor :   *it
User :   no, it took forever to even show negative and it was unclear if the other line was faintly there i was alone when i did it
Doctor :   The pregnancy test s very sensitive and detect it pregnancy
Doctor :   Becuae your test is negative
Doctor :   I do not think your symptoms are related to Pregnancy
User :   I'm very emotional also, I'l start crying out of nowhere and that was before I even missed my period in oct. I'm just very worried and scared to be honest!
User :   even with my past history? None of my pregnancies registered until almost 10 wks because they said i produce such low hcg levels
User :   if it's not pregnancy what could it be then?
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Every pregnancy is different
Doctor :   Your pregancy test is negative and you have no pregancy
Doctor :   And you can repeat the pregancy test now
User :   you're not really helping with any of my questions doctor????
Doctor :   I recommedn you to have the blood pregancy test, ie Seruma levels of Beta HCG titers
Doctor :   Since this is a rare case I am also referring to a medical journal
User :   my hcg levels have never registered in a serum HCG until atleast towards the 3rd trimester...I work in the medical field sir
Doctor :   It is very unusual scenario which I have not experienced in my practice yet
Doctor :   Hence I should not give an erratic information without seeing the journal

User :   and that's exactky what my doctor back home told me, that it was the first time he had ever seen this but he had "heard of it" i was basically his first case....but he;s retired now and I no longer live bacl home : User :   :(
User :   what does the "journal" suggest or say sir?
Doctor :   There is also no robust evidence available about such rare cases even in my text book
Doctor :   which I am referring to
Doctor :   If you give me sometime I shall refer and reply you by email
User :   I have never had these typed of symptoms since i was pregnant with my 3 children.....and my youngest is 12!
Doctor :   What is your age?
User :   38
Doctor :   Are you trying for pregnancy?
User :   yes, my boyfriend and I wanted to have 1 child together
Doctor :   At age 38 the chances of a female becoming pregnant is less
Doctor :   as any female ovary will have a finite number of eggs
Doctor :   These eggs are released every month during the mid of the cycle it is called ovulation
Doctor :   So as the female gets older the number of eggs are reduced in the ovary
Doctor :   and the quality of the egg also reduce
User :   i got pregnant with my youngest on the pill, nver missed one took it the same time every day, i don't drink, wasnt on any antibiotics, ect!
Doctor :   What I suggest you next is to keep repeating the Home pregnancy test once every 72 hours for three times
Doctor :   in all
Doctor :   If you do not find positive
Doctor :   then only test left is Blood pregnancy test
Doctor :   also called Serum HCG titres
User :   I was an egg donor for somone a couple of years ago and they said i had to stop taking the fertility drugs because I produced almost 3x the normal amount and they were afraid that my ovarie could burst.....thats when i was 34
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   That does not relate here
User :   does it matter when i take the test?
Doctor :   Yes
Doctor :   After you miss the period
User :   i was just mentioning that because i was told i was extremely fertile!!!
Doctor :   it is most often positive
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   I shall send you a mail about low HCG
Doctor :   in 24 hours
