User :   I'm 53 years old, not pregnant, not breast feeding, had a mammogram about a month ago. About 3 weeks ago i noticed a small white speck at the tip of my left nipple. No pain or soreness. What is it?
Doctor :   Hi
User :   Hello
Doctor :   Is it still persisting?
User :   Yes. forgot to say mammogram was OK
Doctor :   Do you have similar white spots any where else in the body?
User :   no
Doctor :   Have you had similar lesions in the past?
User :   No, my health in general is very good.
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Let me brief you.
Doctor :   Since I cannot perform an examination online, i cannot give you the exact cause for this white spot.
Doctor :   However according to your history, the symptoms appears to be benign lesion which may not be a serious one.
Doctor :   It can be a depigmented lesion or an minor infection.
User :   I should tell you it is not raised at all, looks more like loss of pigmentation
Doctor :   It probably is just an area of depigmented lesion, similar to vitiligo lesions.
Doctor :   But I would suggest you to get a physical examination done by a doctor to verify this.
Doctor :   In the mean time, all that you need is just is observing the lesion and report immediately to your doctor if you develop symptoms such as
Doctor :   pain, discharge from the nipple, growth over the affected area.
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?
User :   Yes, thank you.
Doctor :   Do you have any other query?
User :   No, that's it.
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me. Bye for now. Please refer your friends to our service.
