User:Hi Doc
User:How are you?
Doctor:How are you doing?
Doctor:I am doing good, thank you
User:I am doing great and a happy father to let you know:-)
Doctor:Thats great news
User:Thank you!
Doctor:How can I help you?
User:This is regarding my SON who completed his 4 months yesterday
User:I am very curious to know about his neck... what is the time line for his neck to stand up right?
Doctor:As in when can he hold up his neck straight?
User:you got it!
Doctor:He'll be able to hold it up straight while sitting at approximately 4 months
Doctor:But this would not be perfect
User:btw he is now now able to turn it and lift it
Doctor:It will become steady by around 6 months
Doctor:Thats good then
User:however, he is dropping it down to the front most of the times
Doctor:Thats what I said
Doctor:It will not be perfect right noww
Doctor:It will slowly stabilize by 6 months
User:OK, i am happy to hear that...
Doctor:By that time, he should be able to hold it up properly
User:Can you also please advise me about some food that i can start with as he is stepping into his fifth month!
Doctor:Only breast milk, nothing else
Doctor:Not even water
Doctor:Till 6 months of age
Doctor:Its not required
Doctor:and breast milk is actually the best food you can give him
User:Yes Of course
Doctor:It has just the right mix of everything
Doctor:So its nutritious and doesnt overload your child's kidneys
User:My wife has just started feeling that she is not feeding him enough
Doctor:You can explain this to her
Doctor:or get her to speak to me
Doctor:He needs to be fed every 2 hours
Doctor:even in the night time
User:Mylo has also started feeling hungry, i.e starts crying every 1 hour
Doctor:There are several things
Doctor:The child needs to be held in the right position
Doctor:Then fed every 2 hours even at night
Doctor:This will allow the child to get sufficient food
User:ok, she also feels that she is short of milk....should we try some alternative?
Doctor:If she feeds him properly, enough milk would be produced
Doctor:Its a normal mechanism of the body
Doctor:Lets do one thing
Doctor:Why dont you get her to speak with me
User:ok, if that is the case! should we try some good food for my wife?
Doctor:She needs a very good diet
User:as in?
Doctor:A normal diet+600 calories
Doctor:So around 4-5 glasses of milk a day
User:Definitely I can make her speak with you! she is some what a shy type :-)
Doctor:Plus in breakfast she can 2-4 slices+egg
Doctor:Lunch:2-3 chapatti/1.5 bowls of rice+dal+vegetable
Doctor:Same for dinner
Doctor:and 2 fruits a day
Doctor:It would be great if we can speak
User:What type of fruits?
Doctor:Anything she likes
Doctor:Prefer apples
User:Oh ok...that's great.
User:How about Fish and meat?
User:she likes fish!
Doctor:That would be great
Doctor:But no red meat
Doctor:Is there anything else I can help you with?
User:If you dont mind can you add on to the diet list for my wife...if you there are any more!
User:that will be of great help
Doctor:Whole grain flour, no white rice
