User:Good evening Doctor,,,,Dr had recommended me for semen analysis,,,,,I wanted to check is there a particular medical term for this,,,,,how do i get this checked?
User:i mean can i approach a lab directly
User:she had recommended this to check if teh sperm count is normal
Doctor:You should abstain from sexual intecourse, masturbation for 3 to 5 days
Doctor:before you go to a lab early in the morning on the 4th day.
Doctor:You should ask for Semen analysis test
Doctor:They will give you a bottle to masturbate and bring out the semen in that bottle. It should be given there
Doctor:Some labs will give you the previous night but after you ejaculate in the bottle it should be transferred to the lab within 20 minutes
