User:sir i need few clarification can i go ahead..
User:now my wife is carrying (6th) month.
User:what kind of food is good for baby health as well mother health..
Doctor:At this point of time, the type of food she needs to be eat depend on her body weight and presence other medical illness?
User:basically she can have sea food right.
Doctor:If she has no other medical co-morbidities she needs extra calorie food along with plenty of fruits and vegetables. All non vegetarian food should be properly cooked.
User:earlier she had thyroid in the last visit doctor told its under control.
User:and is it good to have Saffron with milk
Doctor:Sea foods like shelfish, oyster, shark fish mackarel that are high in mercury needs to be avoided/
Doctor:You can use saffron in moderate amount.
Doctor:that's ok, but in excess can cause GI problems.
