Doctor:I am Dr
User:Hello Dr, my name is XXXXXXX XXXXXXX and I need your help
Doctor:How can I help?
Doctor:Please go ahead
User:I am having neck pain since last 4 days and I visited a local doctor who provided me some local medicines and I am not having relief.
User:I applied Eutheria cream and Move spray as well but to no relief.
User:Can you help?
Doctor:Which medicines have you taken?
Doctor:I need to know a few details so that I am better able to help
Doctor:If you can describe your neck pain in detail and the medicines that you have tried
User:I am not sure, he just told me take these 3 tablets once after lunch and one before sleep. It does not have a name of the medicine
Doctor:Please explain your neck pain in detail
User:I work @ Powai and travel sometimes through my bike. Mostly on Monday and Friday. Company has given a laptop to carry which adds burden on my body. I feel the neck pain is because of that, but not sure. The pain is bearable but I am not feeling comfortable as a normal human being should.
Doctor:Where exactly is the pain?
User:The pain is not on a particular position. It keeps changing. Sometimes left side of the neck, sometimes on the right
Doctor:Does it radiate to arm etc?
User:only the neck
Doctor:Does carrying laptop bring on the pain?
User:That is my assumption, I am not sure. Because in my 30 years of age, this is the first time I am facing this.
Doctor:Have you taken any medicines recently?
User:Generally whenever I have neck pain, I take Esgipyrin and it gets resolved
Doctor:Maybe ayurvedic medicines?
Doctor:Esgipyrin is a good medicine
Doctor:I think it may have something to do with strength of back bone
Doctor:You should get calcium levels and vitamin D levels checked in blood
User:actually, my physicaly activity has drastically lessened in last 10 months. I would rather say no exercise at all. Do you think exercising the neck will help?
User:I saw some of the nexerices on net h
Doctor:You may also get an X-ray done to see if the vertebrae have lower density etc
Doctor:Back exercises will definitely help
User:okie, is there a test name which I need to tell for X-Ray?
Doctor:yoga has some nice stretching exercises and will also help
User:Okie, let me give it a shot and see how it goes.
Doctor:X-ray you will need to get done under supervision of an orthopedician
Doctor:He will be able to interpret the reports and advise you accordingly
User:Thankyou Doctor. It was nice chatting with you. I hope the pain subsides
Doctor:Also carry your laptop in a backpack on both shoulders
Doctor:Hope so
User:yeah I am already carrying that in Backpack
Doctor:Maybe get a light weight laptop
Doctor:Avoid carrying it for a few days
User:but since its a little heavy in weight, I feel its because of that. Lately what I have started doing is, I tie the bag to the handles of the bike so I dont have to carry it over my shoulder
User:not sure if that might cause the pain in neck
Doctor:Well you need to take your precautions
Doctor:Avoid any weight lifting until pain subsides completely
Doctor:This step helps most
Doctor:Thus it should not be ignored
User:One good thing is, company has bus transport. I have started using it for sometime until the pain subsides
Doctor:Carry minimal weight
User:Alrite then. Have a good evening and thanks for your time.
Doctor:Avoid any exertion on neck
User:Yes, sur
Doctor:You too have a great evening
Doctor:Take care
