What is nerve damage and nerve weakness. Are they both same? - Online Doctor Chats
is that both are same
Actually nerve damage ( which can occur due to trauma or toxins or some diseases) leads to a decrease in the function of nerves
This leads to symptoms like motor involvement (which means you cant move the affected part) and sensory involvement ( which means you cant feel)
The severity of symptoms and the potential of recovery depend on how severe the initial trauma was and on several other factors
i was having nerve twitching on back head & in stomach
i am too weak to do activities
When you say twitching, what does it mean?
its like jerk
Like what we feel in the eyes?
What is your height and weight, XXXXXXX
my height (not exact ) 150
and weight 60
when you say you are too weak, does it mean that you are tired all the time?
am tired all the time
how old are you ?
my throat and moth are dry always
Are you constantly under a lot of stress?
are you sure?
Do you worry too much or are a nervous person or anything like that
also tell me about your general lifestyle, dietary habits
i dont have proper food in the morning

what about exercise?
i am doing excersice
how much time?
half an hour
do you smoke or consume alcohol or drink lots of coffee
will have tea only
how many cups of tea in a day?
From what it looks like XXXXXXX you have a possible anxiety disorder
which could be related to the worrying excessively
bad dietary habits also contribute
I would suggest 2 things to start with
I want you to do some pranayama
every day for atleast 5-15 minutes
I also want you to do some yoga
am doing yoga
and pranayama also
then I suggest that you see a physician XXXXXXX
Once we fix it, we can take you off the medication
also, I want you to eat breakfast every single day
I cannot give you anti-anxiety medication in this forum
as they are prescription drugs
I hope you understand
yes but i have buring sensation in my legs and hands

is some thing related to that too?
anti tubercular drugs do cause a neuropathy
when taken in very high doses or over long periods
is that cureable?
You dont have a neuropathy XXXXXXX
Neuropathy means they affect the nerves
i dont know
i am telling you
if you see your symptoms
for you to have a neuropathy, it would mean, a lot of nerves are affected in your body
because each region has a different nerve supply
That is not the case with you
Ok what are all the syptoms of it
You cant feel anything or you have difficulty moving that part
when we do a examination, it ill be clearly evident that there is problem in the nerve function
it can happen in anxiety also XXXXXXX
Can you believe that anxiety can actuaally case fits
I've seen it myself
The symptoms are so varied and involve so many areas, it is surprising
Lets do one thing XXXXXXX
You see a physician who can examine you
tell him you want him to examine your entire nervous system and tell you what the findings are
before two months i had full body check up
oh that would be fine
i saw a physician
Once he tells you that all your nerves are fine, you'll know its definitely anxiety
I can assure you, 100%, your nerves are fine
ok fine then i will see a physician
is physician fine or neuro is fine
till then try and increase the pranayama and decrease the stress
it will help
sure i will do it.Ok then i will get back to you after meeting him
please do that
I will be happy to help you again
