Doctor:How can I help you?
User:Good afternoon my name is XXXX,
User:I have problems with skin
User:I have some tender small bump on my scalp
User:I have these bumps from my childhood, they use to usually excarbate in summer and fade away (go to thier normal position after it)
User:but this year they are not fading away, also I have developed lot of dandruff and I am suffering from Hair loss also
User:I have used Johnsons and Johnsons shampoo Nizoral it worked intially and stopped my dandruff
User:but later on its not working, I still Have dandruff
User:and also I have developed small pimples on the scalp which are tender and there lot of scaling after scratching the head,
User:can you please suggest me any cure, also I have a very stressful job of daily 9 Hours
Doctor:I would first like to know about the bumps.
User:does the work stress contribute to my hairfall
Doctor:You mentioned they appear during summer season;
Doctor:so are these bumps present since the last summer
Doctor:or did it appear recently?
User:no, they are present from my childhood, they are very tiny, whenever I rest my head on a wall or anything hard they become tender or else there is no problem from them
Doctor:Have you seen a doctor to know what these bumps are?
User:I work for a Medical coding Company I have consulted one of my Colleague who is BHMS 3 years ago, at that time he said they are just benign fat masses no need to worry
User:but these days they are getting big in size and they are tender to touch
Doctor:Benign fat masses or lipoma can appear on the scalp too. However if they are getting large and becoming more tender it needs to be looked into.
Doctor:Without an opportunity to examine the bump, I might not be the right person to confirm if you indeed have benign fat mass or something else.
Doctor:Therefore please get this checked by a dermatologist.
Doctor:Now your second concern about hair fall and dandruff.
Doctor:Medicated shampoo such as nizoral when used rightly, it is known to control dandruff issue.
Doctor:You need to follow the instructions religiously and use it at least twice a week for better results.
Doctor:If you have been doing that and have found them unuseful, you can try alternate brands such as scalpe shampoo or 8x shampoo.
Doctor:Check at large pharmacy stores for its availability.
Doctor:Are you following?
User:yes, I am following
Doctor:Once your dandruff is in control, you should notice hair fall issue improving too.
Doctor:since you mentioned that you have stress full life,
Doctor:this stress is going to influence hair fall more than dandruff.
Doctor:So make amends to handle stress. I recommend a good sleep, regular meals and exercies
Doctor:*exercise including yoga/meditation to combat stress.
User:sure I will try to include them in my schedulre
Doctor:Add protein rich food
Doctor:and plenty of fruits and vegetables for added benefits.
Doctor:you may also take Tab. Biotin forte for hair benefits.
Doctor:You will know about other means to deal dandruff / hair fall as you visit a dermatologist.
