What causes recurring skin sores on palms and sole? - Online Doctor Chats
lease proceed with your query.
My 8 year old daughter had hot sores on her palm and sole
We had consulted a skin doctor as per him these are acropustulosis
They have been recurring on palms for last few years
But now they are really acute
They start with small small protrusions which keep joining together to become larger protruding and are yellowish in color apparently Booz of pus
We had applied halovate f which use to heal these earlier
But now they have occurred on sole as well making it difficult for her to stand
Can u suggest any solution
Halobate f is a potent steroidal medication
Have you tried medicines that are used for acne?
like sulfur lotion
What does that mean potent steroidal
Potent means strong
Halobate f is quite strong
I was thinking on the lines of removing the top layer of skin so that pus drains out
We have tried few doctors they all start with fucidic and then move to halovate
Creating a puncture?
Puncturing with a medicine
Other oral immunosuppressants will be strong for her
One thing that we can try in lifestyle is to give her water from RO system
If works for some sllergy like conditions that require steroids
Are you there?
Water from to system to be applied on hands and palm is it?
To drink and to wash
Tulsi leaves in water can also be tried as home remedy
Any ointment for immediate relief?
I cannot think of something stronger than halovate f
We hv been making her wash hands in water with kmno4
Let me check for a stronger ointment
Clobetasol is a very potent steroid - it is better to consult a doctor before applying this medicine
It is an antibiotic
It is usually prescribed for acne
Are you there?
Ok thanks for the advice
Hope I could help a little
