User:get a dull pain on lower left side heart when usually sitting and reaching down with my left arm-like reaching for my shoe-after sitting up it stops. Been doing this for approx two weeks. Today however the pain continued longer- approx 15 min
Doctor:Hello
Doctor:Pain associated with limb movements and bending is not likely to be heart related
Doctor:sounds more like muscular pain
Doctor:however it is best to get an EKG done to rule out ischemia
Doctor:Hello sir
Doctor:are you there?
User:yes
Doctor:Okay
Doctor:I hope I have answered your question
Doctor:is there anything else I can help you with?
User:Since I had open heart surgury 3 years age I read the left side heart tube coud possible block in some cases -could that cause pain?
Doctor:Yes, that can cause pain but not the type of pain that you are experiencing now
Doctor:If it was heart related then you would not get the pain only when you move your arm or when you bend
Doctor:You would feel pain in position even while not doing anything
Doctor:that is why I said it seems more like a muscle pull rather than heart related pain
Doctor:You would feel the pain in all positions
Doctor:not only when bending forward
Doctor:pain only on bending forward means it is arising from muscles or ribs
User:Thank you. I will go to the VA and get this checked out
Doctor:You are most welcome sir
Doctor:It was my pleasure to help you with your problem
Doctor:I hope everything turns to be just fine
Doctor:Take care and have a great evening ahead
Doctor:bye
User:Consider me discharged
Doctor:Okay
Doctor:have a good evening
Doctor:bye bye
