User:i am suffering with nocturnal cough for the last several days..

User:it started when the climate has changed..

User:i didnt take any meds in the beginning

User:but recently i took tus-q, there was no improvement, so i stopped it..

User:i noticed that the cough is coming only when i eat any sweet like items..

Doctor:I meant in the night when you have cough, how long does it stay?
User:regularly for 10-15 minutes,
User:with very slight sputum, it is a dry cough

Doctor:from the description given by you, I feel that it could be due viral infection producing small bouts of cough in the night.

Doctor:1. XXXXXXX warm salt water gargling three to four times a day.
Doctor:2. Consume only boiled water.
Doctor:3. Avoid cold and refrigerated food items.
Doctor:4. Avoid oily and spicy food.
User:ok.
Doctor:5. Strepsils or XXXXXXX lozenges as many times as require.
User:once or twice i used strepsils also, but no use,,
Doctor:6. Benadryl or Grilinticus cough syp one tsp three times a day.

Doctor:Continue with the lozenges.
Doctor:After taking the syp make sure you dont have anything over it for half an hour at the least.
