User:I am facing neck pain since last 3-4 months

User:on weekdays it increases and on wekkends gets reduced

User:not sure.. may be evening

User:yes.. intially it used to improve after exercise.. but nowdays I am not following exercise regularly

Doctor:From the description provided by you, I feel that the neck pain could be due to improper position of the neck while working.

Doctor:As you are in IT and work on system regularly.
User:ok.. the pain is more for left side

Doctor:Thats because of stress in muscles.
Doctor:I would advise you to see an orthopedician.

Doctor:1. Raise the monitor height to your eye level.
Doctor:where you dont have to look down to view.
Doctor:2. Regular neck exercises.
Doctor:you can do it regularly while working to.
Doctor:on and off or as possible for 5 mins.

Doctor:You have to rotate your head in the clockwise direction and later in the anticlockwise direction.
User:these was tingling sensation as well for initial days.. but now it has gone
Doctor:keep turining your head to both the directions.
Doctor:The tingling could be due to a nerve compression which would be rectified now or due to vit B12 deficiency.
Doctor:3. Use a semisoft pillow with neck support.
Doctor:4. You can use a cervical collar for few days.
Doctor:5. If unbearable pain analgesics like paracetamol or ibuprofen can be used.
Doctor:Follow these measures it will improve gradually.
