User:its may father's operation next week
User:and she is stressing on that
User:not sleeping well
Doctor:ko
User:we are worried its due to this or anyhting related to extension of the scan
Doctor:IT does not seem to be related to extension of scan
Doctor:Though scan should be done in time
Doctor:It seems more like an infection of the throat or side effect of some medicine
User:we have done 3 scans post her surgery and all the reports were normal
Doctor:Yes
Doctor:So chances of a recurrence are less
User:but coz of my father's operation we had to extend
Doctor:That is why I said it may not be related
User:doctor said after 4 months we can do a scan now
Doctor:She needs to relax and worry about herself first
User:now this will be her 5th month
Doctor:ok
User:i hope that will not be an issue
Doctor:Her doctor visits should be done as needed
Doctor:Postponing scan by 1 month should not be worrisome
Doctor:Doctor examination can help find any complications
User:ok..and i had one more query

Doctor:ok
User:and he is getting operated for prostate enlargement next week
User:doc said its endoscopy

Doctor:k
User:is it possible for him to travel by flight after the surgery
Doctor:He has to avoid lifting heavy weights after surgery
User:ok
User:but travelling is not a problem isnt it
Doctor:Since it is being done endoscopically, less complications
Doctor:travelling shouldnt be a problem
Doctor:but lifting his suitcase maybe
User:of course..we will take care of that
Doctor:It is better to take adequate rest afterwards
User:that he dosent life anything
User:but how soon can he travel after surgery
Doctor:If we look at his age and the procedure, 3 - 4 weeks rest would be adequate
User:so we should travel after 1 month post surgery?
Doctor:The more rest old people are given the better they heal
Doctor:yes
User:ok doctor..but do any complications arise in this surgery..cause of his age
User:he is very healthy
