User:I have been feeling very sleepy no matter how much I sleep, nauseous especially in the morning when I wake up and after eating, and ab pain. This has been going on for about 2.5wks. I highly doubt I am pregnant since I had my period right before I felt this way, but my period started a week early and ended days faster than usual.
Do you know what kind of virus that I might have?
User:nice to meet you

User:but this time, i am very sleepy and i need to sleep
User:this has been going on even after my period started, which has never happened before
Doctor:how long are you sleeping now?
User:4-6hrs on weekdays as usual since i have work
User:but on the weekends, i sleep around 6-8hrs
User:but i used to only sleep 4-6 on the weekends and 3-6hrs on weekdays
Doctor:how much did you sleep in the last 48hrs?
User:about 12-15hrs total i think
User:also, i have ab pain too since then
Doctor:That seems fine
User:i know it is not the same as tummy ache and period pain
User:i also feel nauseated
User:i still feel nauseated right now and have slight ab pain
Doctor:That may be due to colitis
Doctor:non -specific
User:what is colitis?
Doctor:You can take antispasmodics like Dicyclomine
Doctor:Just a non-specific infection of the colon
Doctor:You do not need any treatment for it
Doctor:Just take band diet
Doctor:More liquids
Doctor:rest well for 2 days
Doctor:take Yoghurt a cup full daily
Doctor:For nausea, you can take Domperidone tablet
User:i have been resting this weekend and last weekend
Doctor:IT should be gone in a couple of days
User:i only drink water and tea (no sugar or anything else added)
Doctor:do you have loose stools as such?
User:how would i get infection of colon
User:i haven't changed my diet, exercise amount, eating/drinking habits, or anything
User:how do i get infection of colon in these circumstances?
Doctor:I am not confirming that it is infection
Doctor:It is just a possibility
Doctor:right now, you do not have major symptoms
Doctor:except for nausea and abdominal pain
Doctor:this could be due to simple indigestion as well
Doctor:Try antacids like Prilosec as well
User:i have already tried that when i felt nauseated and it felt like a heart burn
Doctor:IF your symptoms worsen, like you get loose stools, fever, only then we need to worry about infection
Doctor:Continue to take prilosec then
User:i don't like taking meds for a long time
Doctor:You need not take it for more than a week
Doctor:infact take it for 3 to 4 days more
Doctor:all right?
Doctor:I am sure you will be fine in a couple of days
Doctor:are you there?
Doctor:Do you have any more queries?
Doctor:are you there?
