How can I help you?
Good Morning Dr.
I just sent a query

If you wish to discuss the problem here, you can go ahead.
sorry can u see that ?
last week or so, I have some alergy cough and it receded now...I don;t have much cough issue
Alternatively I'll answer your question and reply there
noticed some tightness in my chest
and my wife observed I am taking heavy breaths while sleeping
I normally have congestion issue during winter season
any suggestions ?
May I know your age?
How long have you been suffering with this complaint?
last two to three days
Can you elaborate more on chest tightness?
Do you mean you feel you have difficulty to breathe or have pain/discomfort while breathing?
no discomport while breathing
havy breath in the night...but not with any pain in the chest
Are you able to sleep with no serious troubles?
not much trouble
may be once in a while I will wake up while my son coughs
Are you able to walk around, climb stairs, do your activities without any troubles?
able to walk freely
If you are able to do your work, sleep well, climb stairs without any difficulties, then you don't seem to have any problems in my opinion.
Allergic and cough secondary to viral illness take time to settle down.
It may last for 2-3 weeks before subsiding.
I feel could be some infection in lungs...
You need to be concerned if cough and breathing issues is affecting your daily works.
will it be so ?
I don't feel you have an active infection.
Thank you Dr...
anyhow...I am planning to visit my Physisna today
just to confirm as I am travelling to my native for a week vacation
Based on my clinical experience you don't seem to be having an active infection. but if you aren't convinced, then the next option is to get chest X-ray and complete blood done
You can visit your physician and get these test done if needed.
Hope it is clear.
Do you have any other questions?
Thanks for consulting me.
Bye for now.
