User:Burning sensation after I poo.
Colourless discharge sometimes.
Also sometimes bleeding after walking.
Doctor:Burning sensation and bleeding could be due to either piles or fistula
User:is there anything I could try to do to help the condition?
Doctor:Okay, before I answer you question, I would like to know a few more details
Doctor:so, if you don't mind, please answer these questions
User:of course
Doctor:Do you have difficulty passing stools?
User:tends to be loose,no real difficulty
Doctor:do you get any streaks of blood while passing stools?
User:no never
Doctor:how long has this been going on?
User:about 9mths on and off
Doctor:You mentioned bleeding after walking
Doctor:is the bleeding from anus?
User:yes, happened 3 times over that period, once after cycling, the other 2 times after walking, like a rubbing sensation when walking, then when i got home checked and blood on toilet paper
User:but once cleaned,no more blood
Doctor:Oh, okay
User:maybe not from right inside
User:maybe bleeding from very end
Doctor:have you noticed any small protrusions from the anus?
Doctor:I mean, can you feel any skin tag like things on the anus?
User:about 6mths ago,at the very end of the anus,2 small lumps, that I could push back, slightly tender to touch, they went after about a week
User:not vreally skin tag like things
Doctor:Okay, I suspect you have some small piles/hemorrhoids
User:any ideas on treatment
Doctor:The best things to do is to continue with good dietary fibers
User:yes,i will try that
Doctor:And keep the area dry
Doctor:and if you notice any bleeding again, you do need to consult a proctologist
Doctor:or a general surgeon
User:a couple of times the stools have been smooth on the left hand side
Doctor:and get yourself examined
User:that is as if they have been cut with a knife,a smooth edge
Doctor:okay, could be because of the small hemorrhoid making an indentation on the stools
Doctor:May I know your age?
User:I am 50yrs old
Doctor:Next time you notice any bleeding, please consult a surgeon or a proctologist and get yourself examined
User:Yes,I will
Doctor:it is difficult to come to a conclusion without actually looking at the part
Doctor:Once a proper diagnosis is made, the treatment can be decided
User:i understand
User:is it quite common?
Doctor:hemorrhoids are quite common
Doctor:but the bleeding as described by you is not that common
Doctor:bleeding in hemorrhoids is quite XXXXXXX and copious
User:no ideas of the cause?
Doctor:I can make an educated guess
Doctor:1. Hemorrhoids
User:Please do
Doctor:2. Polyps
Doctor:3. Some lump/tumor in the lower rectum or anus
Doctor:doesn't sound much like a fistula, but that also needs to be ruled out
Doctor:is there anything else I can help you with?
User:No that is all thank you
