User:Doctor, just wanted to know the care to be taken in case of hyper thryoid
Doctor:Is he on medicines?
Doctor:Is he checking the TSH, T3 and t4 regularly intervals at 6 months
Doctor:These are the following:
Doctor:1) Regular and same time medication
Doctor:2) Regular follow up with doctor for need to adjust the dose of antithyroid medicines
Doctor:3) Check with a eye specialist to look for early changes in the eye
Doctor:4) Skin changes can happen, it should be moisturized and avoid any hurt
User:what in the eye?
Doctor:eye changes can occur
Doctor:which your doctor can explain
User:any vision problem doctor?
Doctor:Thyroid function tests should be performed every 4-6 weeks until thyroid levels are stabilized on a low dose of antithyroid medication. So do not wait for 6 months during early treatment. Perform follow-up tests of thyroid function at least every 3 months for the first year. After 12-18 months
