User:Hello Doctor
User:I had a query regarding my wife
Doctor:please go ahead
User:she is 27 yrs old. From last couple of days she is having back pain. she is having a boutique and she needs to do cloth cutting work for long hours during the day
User:her weight is 63 kgs with a height of 140cms.
User:can you help me in this regard?
Doctor:Back pain is usually temporary and goes down with pain-killers
User:the height and weight is approx. doctor.
User:will you please advise some?
Doctor:140 cm is very low height
Doctor:Pain-killers that can taken include brufen and voveran
Doctor:I think she should first try brufen 200 mg 2 - 3 times a day
User:sorry doc. the height is not 140 but its 151 approx.
Doctor:so her BMI is around 27.6
Doctor:It is in the category of overweight
Doctor:Reducing the weight will help her
Doctor:For back pain
Doctor:Other things that she needs is
Doctor:to give her back adequate rest and movement
Doctor:It means that she should not sit continuously for long hours
Doctor:she needs to keep moving around
Doctor:For sleep she needs to use a mattress that is neither hard nor very soft
Doctor:The mattress should adjust according to the contour of the back
Doctor:Are you there?
User:yes.she does the cutting work standing for long hours during the day. again after can this be a reason
Doctor:yes t can be
Doctor:since she may be bending forward and staying in one position for long time
Doctor:She also needs regular exercise at least 20 min a day
Doctor:Something like yoga, gym, walk etc
User:ok. how to take the medicine? I mean before food or after?
Doctor:Preferably after food
Doctor:Do not take it empty stomach
User:how many kgs she needs to loose approximatly?
Doctor:It should be taken only if pain is present
User:she is also having a bit acidity problem. can she take this class of pain killer?
Doctor:43 to 57 is ideal weight for her height
Doctor:In that case the pain-killer can make the acidity worse
User:she is using hot water bag from last 2-3 days but did not get fav. result.
User:is there any alternative medicine?
Doctor:All pain-killers will give acidity
Doctor:Oe option is to go for antacids along with medicine
Doctor:Another option is to ad dmisoprostol
Doctor:sorry it is misoprostol
Doctor:but it has some side-effects and is not the first option
Doctor:she should also be checked for serum calcium and vit D levels
User:ok. but what is misoprostol ? Is it a tab? what shall I tell the chemist?
Doctor:Yes it is a tablet
Doctor:you will need a prescription for it
Doctor:a written prescription
Doctor:you should first try antacids like pantoprazole
User:ok.. that means your suggestion is to take brufen 200 mg with pantoprazole.
Doctor:for now that seems the best option
Doctor:Which medicine is she taking for acidity
User:Aciloc 300
Doctor:then she can take aciloc and brufen
Doctor:no need for pantoprazole
User:or some times Litacid gel- an antacid after food.
Doctor:The gel has to be taken whenever she has acidity
Doctor:If this gel fails to control acidity then aciloc should be taken
Doctor:or sometimes aciloc is prescribed for daily use
Doctor:Do you have any question?
Doctor:Are you there?
Doctor:Are you there?
Doctor:It seems that you are not responding
