User:are there any major complications involved ?
Doctor:Okay, please go ahead
Doctor:Major complications of what?, the hernia surgery?
Doctor:Can you tell me more about the hernia, like where it is situated
Doctor:and how big it is,
User:gimme 2 mins , will get all the details
Doctor:is it the inguinal hernia or is it some other hernia?
User:i remember him mentioning this Abdomen region
User:but i'll get a hold of him and get the details now
User:1 min
User:Located on the Left side of the Groin. not very big as mentioned by the first doc.
User:the first doc recognized it when he asked my dad to cough
Doctor:Looks like it is either a femoral hernia or an inguinal hernia
Doctor:these are the most common hernias in men
Doctor:and surgical repair is the best solution
User:So nothing much to worry about then ?
Doctor:surgical repair is not a major procedure, and in the hands of experienced surgeons absolutely nothing to be worried about
Doctor:but with surgery, there is always the issue of anesthesia, but fortunately, only a spinal anesthesia will be required
Doctor:so the risks of anesthesia are also very minimal, so there is nothing to be worried about
User:Good , thats good to hear.
User:and as you can see - I work the Night Shift ..
Doctor:In Bangalore, you can go to Manipal, Mallya Mahaveer XXXXXXX Hospital, Appolo, or Fortis
Doctor:all the hospitals are fine
User:How do you feel about Columbia Asia ?
Doctor:you can even go to teaching hospitals like M.S Ramaih, which ever suits you is fine
Doctor:That also has a very good name, but since I do not have any personal experience, I can not comment
Doctor:The choice is yours,
Doctor:You can go to any of these hospitals
User:I'm not a big Fan of Manipal , they seem to treat it more like a Hotel than a Hospital especially with all their Packages :P . I think i'll check out Fortis .. Thank you for your assistance Doc and thanks for putting my mind to ease. Have a good night
Doctor:Thank you for consulting me
