User:My wife has some calcium problem
User:some dr. has said she has to eat calcium tablets for life
User:is there any alternative for tahta
User:like instead of taking pills can she take some diet

User:she has some back problem for long time
User:6 months back she consulted a doctor and he has given dome calcium and vitamin d midicine
User:now she is fine ..
User:but sometime she get back pain

User:dr. said she need to take those pills almost for lifetime

User:she used to get it while wake up or if she is standing for long

User:dont know exactly but she started complaining few yrs back but it was mild

User:ya some thoyriod tests and other vitamin d and some other tests
Doctor:Do you know the abnormal findings on the tests?
User:vitamin d deficiency but not much...just below the normal range

User:she took it for four months and then she stopped
Doctor:Was any radiological investigations done?
Doctor:Does she still have back pain?
User:not frequent but sometime she get it

Doctor:My suggestion is that she should discontinue taking routine calcium supplements.
