User :   Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ?
User :   yes
Doctor :   Hi
User :   On the 26 of Feb, I started feeling sick and went to the doctor the following Tuesday (1st) and was diagnosed with a viral infection. Since I have been eating only soup and crackers and keeping hydrated and the last few days most of the flu-like and common cold symptoms (runny nose etc) are gone but I still don't really have an appetite and am fatigued and where I usually weigh around mid 170's, today when i weighed myself i weighed 160. I am concerned that there may be something more serious here and was wondering if this was normal? I even went to go play basketball yesterday (was feeling good) but after few minutes on the court was profusely sweating and had to sit out the rest of the game...
Doctor :   let me read ur query
User :   thank you
Doctor :   please give me a few minutes

User :   okay the main thing was worried about is apparently lost around 10-15 pounds in little over a week
Doctor :   once you start eating , your energy levels will normalize and u will feel better
Doctor :   i understand, and this is usually common after any inflammatory body condition, including a viral infection
User :   ok, i'll keep up with foods and drinks and guess wait for my body to fight off the sickness
Doctor :   yes thats a right approach
User :   thanks again
Doctor :   you are most welcome ,
Doctor :   take care and have a good evening
Doctor :   bye for now
