User :   Hi, a few days ago my mother adjusted my neck and immediately afterwards I felt very strange, everything looked surreal, like I was hallucinating and my vision was blurry and strange. This went away after five to ten minutes should I be concerned?
Doctor :   Hi
Dr XXX here
Let me read your query
Doctor :   what do u mean by neck adjustment
User :   she cracked my neck the way chiropractors do. she is went to the school of natural theraputics.
Doctor :   i guess, you had a attack of vertigo,
Doctor :   which occurs, when you have irrgular neck moements
User :   could it be a mini stroke? Or should I worry about blood clots in my neck? (I heard that can happen)
Doctor :   do you have a weakness ?
Doctor :   may i know your age, weight , ?
User :   I'm 22, I usually weigh 156 but right now I weigh 132
User :   I'm 5'10"
Doctor :   I would not worry of you getting a stroke etc
Doctor :   there is no need for you to worry anymore, as this episode was transient
User :   so.. even if little arteries or whatnot were torn they would probably heal themselves because I'm young and healthy?
Doctor :   there was no artery damage here
User :   ..or because its been a few days, whatever might of happened would have happened by now?
User :   ... how do you know?
Doctor :   what you had, was vertigo, which occurs, when the ear canals in the inner ear, are misled, due to...
Doctor :   the fact that your mom, twisted your head
User :   So I have nothing to worry about and don't need to get anything checked or look for any bad signs?
Doctor :   no there is no need to worry
Doctor :   Unless you are not able to walk around, have severe throbbing headache
User :   no, I didn't have a sever headache.. but a day later I had a headache as if I had a really bad head cold even though I didn't have a head cold
User :   but now it is gone
Doctor :   Are you symptomatic now?
Doctor :   NO, THEN, rest assured that you are completely fine , and no need to worry
User :   okay... if I get on again, is there any way to talk to you again specifically?
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   just ask for DrXXX
User :   Just one more reassurance then. I read online that you can get blood clots from such adjustments than can move to your brain and cause a stroke. Is this not true?
User :   okay
Doctor :   if done in a violent manner, and in people having clots in the blood vessels, like aged individuals over 40 yrs
Doctor :   it can cause
Doctor :   but in your case, you are still young and your symptoms are no matter to be worried
User :   thank you!
Doctor :   Are you satisfied,
Doctor :   dont worry too much
