User:i have an question for my eyes..........

User:i am currently using monthly disposable contact lenses around 6 months
User:initiallly i just used to wear specs......
User:since last 2 or 3 weeks i am facing some issues with my eyes. as i hav already suffered with eye infection twice in last 2 weeks.
User:please suggest how can i take special care of my eyes using lenses
User:n avoid eye problems
Doctor:See, the main problem with the contact lenses is with the cleaning solution
Doctor:You are currently using monthly disposable lenses
Doctor:You must know how to clean your lenses
Doctor:The common problem in the eyes arise due to an organism called Entamoeba histolytica that grows in the cleansing solution
Doctor:The cleansing solution must be kept clean
Doctor:You should change it frequently
Doctor:Use fresh cleansing solution every time
Doctor:Also, it is not advisable to keep the contact lenses on for more than 8 hours in a day
Doctor:So ideally you must remove your lenses after 8 hrs in a day
Doctor:Switch to spectacles at home
Doctor:Also, you should keep your cornea moist
Doctor:Use refresh tears or add tears often
