Doctor :   dr XXXX
User :   ok
User :   i have a question doctor
Doctor :   yes proceed with your query
User :   what is the difference between the following milk brands
User :   1. S-26 GOLD
User :   2. isomil
User :   are you there?
User :   hello????
Doctor :   yes one minute
User :   ok
User :   take your time doc, i thought we were diconnected
Doctor :   S 26 gold is a nutritional supplement
Doctor :   where as the isomil contains the dietary fibers more in content
User :   our baby has been taking since birth s-26 gold 1, and she is now 3 months 15 days, and doctor ask us to try Isomil 1
Doctor :   ok
User :   we just want to know if using the isomil will cause motion etc in the baby, and is it safe?
User :   doc was saying isomil is non-allergic milk soya, we did not understand, so i am here to get your unbiased opionion
Doctor :   it is safe in babies
Doctor :   it will increase the gastrointestinal motility
Doctor :   it is used in diarrhea also
Doctor :   it contains the soya protein which is required for the growth of the baby
User :   i understand doctor, but my question is what is this allergic thing that is with isomil and not with s26?
Doctor :   allergic ?
Doctor :   i did not understand
User :   may i explain pls the background
Doctor :   yes please
User :   our baby has developed a small skin rash at her back and we went to see her doctor who did skin test (taking the outer layer of skin) and then after the test, she claimed its fungus so she gave nizoral. after applying one week nizarol the spot disappears but leave pure while skin beneath (perhaps pigmentaton). just 1 week back baby again develops the same rashes but more severly under belly button area.
Doctor :   ok
User :   we went to see skin specialist today in same hospital who claimed (since all records and tests are online) that the skin test did not result in fungus (it was a doubt) and he is more coninced at her age of 3 months, she has allergy. he advised to use sensitive skin produts like soap, lotion, use cotton cloth, keep dusts away and he said see your child doctor to let her prescribe allergic free milk
Doctor :   ok
User :   by the way this skin specialist ask us not to use nizorol but use Daktacort for only 3 days.
Doctor :   there is some thing called leutin in the S-26 GOLD
Doctor :   it can cause allergic reactions
User :   we went to see our child doctor (she is seeing her from birth) who said that we should continue using nizorol as daktacort is actually same but it contains cortizone. then she said since skin specialist advised nonallergic milk forumula (my wife breasfeeding like 70% but some times thats not enough so baby feeds like 3 times in 24 hours one spoon potion of s26), she prescribed to use isomil saying this milk is natural from soaya and better
User :   ok i read it, just one more line to complete.....
Doctor :   ok
User :   now my wife is confused, she said if she change the formula the baby will have loose motion and etc etc as she heard not to change the forumal. so thats the whole story. now i read you re saying s 26 is caused skin allergic
User :   her friend actially told her that its not the milk as if it was the milk, the whole body of baby will be impaced. But i am saying, if she does not do what doc says, tomorow whole body will also slowly be infected.
User :   now am listening to ur advise doc
Doctor :   follow the skin doctor advise
Doctor :   it is necessary at the moment to control the skin disorder
User :   ok\
Doctor :   which is more important than the initially diarrhea which can be overcome in few days time
Doctor :   the baby will get used to new formulation easily
User :   ok
User :   we fully understand
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   is there anything else i can help you with
User :   no thanks
User :   you have been so helpful
Doctor :   thanks for consulting health care magic
Doctor :   bye for now
