User :   just let you know
Doctor :
ok no problem I can try to understand
User :   I have sex with one girl last night, and my friend were telling me that she have sex with different guys often
User :   so i was using a condom for protection, and for some reason it broke
User :   after that i stopped and went to bathroom, and washed it
User :   washed my penis
Doctor :
ok
User :   just right after it broke
User :   might it took only 30 seconds or something like that
User :   now i am kinda scared from some serious deceases
Doctor :
Ok
User :   like HIV or others you know
Doctor :
I understand
User :   so was it possible to get a deceases from that short moment
User :   i never had any sexual deceases before, and i had very few partners before except last night
User :   i am pretty sure, old partners are ok but i am not sure about last night
Doctor :
Ok sexual diseases spread through unprotected sex and polygamous relationship ( multiple partners)
Doctor :
Since you had a protected sex last night but the condom broke, you had washed off the penis as soon the chances are there but less
Doctor :
You should not panic on this, you just have to make sure that you did not contract the disease by few tests after few weeks
Doctor :
The tests are VDRL, HiV- ELISA and HBsAg
User :   i heard when doctors test it, they have to put something to my penis. Is this correct?
Doctor :   No
Doctor :
Not required
User :   are those cost a lot?
User :   i mean tests
Doctor :   I am not really sure in your country
Doctor :
But they should not cost very high
User :   Where are you from?
User :   I am in the USA
Doctor :
I know that
Doctor :
I am in India
User :   oh ok
User :   what about HIV ?
Doctor :
HIV test cost 15 USD
User :   is there have any possibility that i might got it? in that short contact time>
User :   ?
Doctor :
I am sorry 1-5 USD
Doctor :
Less possibility
User :   but you mean there have possibility
User :   i am not sure how it works.
Doctor :
Yes atleast less than 1%
User :   oh scary
User :   so when can i take those tests
User :   after few weeks or
Doctor :
First ELISA HIV after 6 weeks
User :   i was planing to go hospital tomorrow
Doctor :   Later again after 3 months
Doctor :
But to make sure of it you can go for HIV DNA PCR test
Doctor :
after a week
Doctor :
It costs bit more than ELISA
User :   so other deceases can be test 1 or 2 days later?
User :   or all deceases have to be tested after 6 weeks
Doctor :
Yes
Doctor :
Only HIV sometime
Doctor :
VDRL within 1 -2 days
User :   so do you think, i need to go or do you think it should be ok?
User :   what's VDRL?
Doctor :   It is to test for Syphilis
User :   type of decease or in general
Doctor :
Type of disease is Syphilis and the test is called VDRL
Doctor :
It is very simple
User :   is it from blood?
Doctor :
Yes
User :   oh ok
User :   so is there have any test for in general? i mean the test that can tell deceases in different kind if there have any
Doctor :
No these are the basic tests
Doctor :
so you have to get them right
Doctor :
to make you stay in peace
Doctor :   If they are not positive then you can stay happily taking precautions from now and no mistakes
User :   yea i understand
User :   so what are those basic tests
User :   including HIV
User :   i am gonna take all of them
Doctor :
I have told the same above
Doctor :
HIV - ELISA after 4 to 6 weeks
Doctor :
VDRL - for Syphilis
Doctor :
HBsAg / Anti HBcAb for Hepatitis B
User :   so it's 3 ?
Doctor :   Yes

User :   ok
User :   all of them are from blood?
Doctor :
Yes, VDRL can be done with Urine too
User :   oh ok
User :   so any of them don't have anything to do with pulling something to the penis
User :   hn ?
Doctor :
I think you are asking about swab test
Doctor :
That is taking a cotton swab and scraping over the penis
Doctor :
that is not done usually if there is no discharge
Doctor :
You have not complained of the same
User :   ok
User :   can you make it little bit more clear
Doctor :
VDRL test is one that is used to screen people for Syphilis
Doctor :
The more latter the better is the result of the test
Doctor :
It is a blood test or body fluid test
Doctor :
The early VDRL's are not that accurate
Doctor :
hence it is done after 48 to 72 hours
Doctor :
If this is positive then the Doctor might order for next that is RPR test
Doctor :
If both VDRL and RPR are positive then it confirms to be a disease of syphilis
Doctor :
If VDRL is negative then further testing is avoided
Doctor :
and person is asked to test after 3 months and 6 months
User :   ok thank you for your advise
Doctor :
Meantime if you have any sores
Doctor :
the doctor might feel the need to take a scrap from that area
Doctor :
and examine under microscope that is called Dark field microscopy to diagnose Syphilis
Doctor :
So please go to a Doctor if you develop any symptoms like discharge or ulcer kind on the penis
Doctor :
Till then you just have to screen with VDRL
Doctor :
I hope I am understandable
Doctor :
Do you have any doubts?
User :   i feel normal yesterday and today? no pains! so i just need to take those 3 basic tests just in case
User :   that
User :   that's what i understand from what you have told me
Doctor :
Yes these tests are only to say you are not infected
Doctor :
Please fill the feedback form say done when done
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me. Bye for now.
