User :   i have what looks like an ulcer on the right side of my vagina. Its on the inside of the lip tucked into the upper corner by the pee hole opening. What is it??
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hi
Doctor :
let me read your query
Doctor :
Are you sexually active?
Doctor :
What is your age?
User :   at first i thought it was a yeast infection, i also had a bladder infection. So i was on antibiotics and diflucan. But the diflucan did not work. So then my doc put me on flagyl and its been four days still not better.
User :   yes i was, but the other person has no synthoms of anything.
Doctor :
Do you pain and sweling?
User :   just pain at the area of the sore
User :   it doesnt hurt all the time or bad, just when im sitting down i can feel it. it just feels like a sore.
Doctor :
Do you have bleeding or discharge?
User :   thats the only synthom i have.
Doctor :
Ok, do you have burning urination?
User :   is the sore, thats it. No discharge or smell, or fever, or stomach ache, no flue synthoms, no heeadache, no bleeding.
Doctor :
I just think you have to continue the treatment
User :   i did at first but i had a bladder infection, after i took the antibiotics it was gone.
Doctor :
and you will see the results soon
Doctor :
try to urinate as regularly as possible
User :   i am to take the pills for five das. I have one more pill to take.
Doctor :
What is your age?
User :   28
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :
You just have to continue it
Doctor :
for few more days
User :   so u cant tell me anything on what it could be?
Doctor :   Did you scratch over the area?
User :   I dont think so
User :   it hasnt been ich
Doctor :
User :   maybe at first when i thought i had a yeast infection but that went away as if i did have one after i took the dyflucan.
Doctor :
As far as I hear about your history, you are going fine in terms of your medication
Doctor :
the ulcer could be a traumatic or sexually transmitted
User :   but this sore wont go away
Doctor :   It takes time
User :   if it is an std what do u think it is?
Doctor :
Gonorrhoea could be a good possibility since there was a prior bladder infection
Doctor :
The non gonococcal infection are also a possibility
User :   thats the most common one. Wouldnt the guy know he had it?
Doctor :
since the guy has no symptoms
User :   Ive known him for years and trust him. He's ver responsable and he is the only person ive been with. i got tested before him i was fine
Doctor :
It does not mean that if a person has an infection they should have symptoms too
User :   so he might have it and not know it
Doctor :   yes
User :   i started having this problem a week after i had sex with him
User :   i didnt think of an std though cause i get bladder infections and yeast infections often
Doctor :
Check for the urine culture
Doctor :
because frequent infections is not normal thing
User :   i mean when i have sex i usually get one
Doctor :   Did your doctor ask for one?
User :   this would be the second one in a year
User :   no because i know when i have one
Doctor :   Were your sexual acts so intense to cause a trauma
Doctor :
Fingering, nail scratch could have cause the sore
User :   i dont think so, i mean maybe, i kinda have to get use to it cause i get sore easily.
Doctor :
Abstain from sex till the soreness heals
Doctor :
If the sex is abstained and if it is traumatic ulcer it heals fast
User :   Ive just never had this happen before and its been there for a month now
Doctor :
and if it is std , the medicines shoiuld heal
User :   Flagl is for std?
Doctor :   Flagyl is for the bacterial vaginosis
User :   its been 18 days since sex and its still there.
