User :   I suffer from three small ulcers below my tongue. They are very painful. I get this problem now and then. Please suggest some drug.

Doctor :   1) Rinse your mouth with salt water, baking soda (dissolve 1 teaspoon of soda in 1/2 cup warm water), diluted hydrogen peroxide or elixir of diphenhydramine (Benadryl)

Doctor :   Avoid abrasive, acidic or spicy foods that can cause further irritation and pain. Take liquid diet for few days, usually minor canker sores heal in a week.
