Doctor:How can I help you?
User:Hi Doctor, we are planning for a kid since last 2 months but are unsucessful. We both are healthy & the sexual life is also normal. We had sex almost every night. The session lasts for around 1 hour with foreplay & main cource. We both enjoy sex. We donot have a clue as why we are unable to get success. As per suggestions by some friends, we figured out the D Days of sex for conciving a baby (ie 5 days before 7days of next expected periods). Pls help
Doctor:Ok. I understand your concern.
Doctor:Firstly, I feel that you have gone at it in the wrong way.
User:oh is it?
Doctor:For conceiving, the intercourse should be around the ovulation days.
User:so when is the ovulation day
Doctor:Ovulation takes place around 14 days prior to the menstruation.
User:ok, but say suppose today my wife had her periods, so when is the ovulation day
User:ie 23Feb 2013
Doctor:Her ovulation should have taken place around 23-14 = 9 (9th of feb)
User:next month, how do we calculate when it is
User:this month it is 28 days only
Doctor:Normally what is her cycle period? Is it regularly 28 days?
User:how do we calculate that?
Doctor:From first day of periods in one month to first day of periods in the next month.
User:i found out fm my wife, it is 30 days cycle
Doctor:If it is regularly 30 days cycle,
Doctor:Her ovulation will be around 16th day of the cycle.
Doctor:So the intercourse should be around 13th day to 17th day.
Doctor:For a conception to take place.
Doctor:Are you following me?
User:ok fine
Doctor:It may take a few months to conceive. Just follow the same pattern of unprotected sex, for few months.
Doctor:If there are no errors in both of the partner, then conception should take place.
User:thanks a lot doctor
Doctor:If it does not take place, then you will need an opinion from an infertility specialist.
User:ya this was first month of trial so i think it will take time
Doctor:Hope you have understood my suggestions.
Doctor:Is there anything else I could help you on?
Doctor:Are you there?
Doctor:Are you there?
User:thanks doctor
User:nothng else
