User :   hi i m married for almost 6 years i m age 26 & i have varecocele left side moderate right side small and hormones are perfect DNA test was excellent i had total sperm 47 mill morphology was 24% but motility is 0% no motile sperm was found for more then 5 years after washing there was viability about 48%
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Let me read the query and give me a couple of minutes
User :   k
Doctor :   Please go ahead with your queries
Doctor :   Are you trying for a baby and if so, since how long with out contraception?
User :   is there any recommendation for me of course after trying
Doctor :   Were you using any contraceptive methods before?
User :   i m trying since my wadding almost 6 years
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   From your reports, the motility is an issue
Doctor :   as well as the morphology
User :   only natural vitamins that gave a boost for the morphology from 9% to 24%
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   Have you been advised to continue trying , or to go in for other methods of fertility?
User :   now only motility is my bigest concern
User :   for this i m here today
User :   is there anything to do for motility
Doctor :   Evidence suggest that there is no pill or a method that increases the motility of the sperm.
User :   how about fixing vericocele
Doctor :   Since you are at 26 yrs and your wife would be younger
User :   my wife is 25
Doctor :   I think you can take a decision about going for Assisted reproductive techniques after one more year of natural trials for pregnancy
Doctor :   The most important is the rapidly and slowly progressive percents of sperms in the motility analysis
Doctor :   Many infertility specialist believe it is possible that the varicocele may be an unrelated finding in infertile men - a "red herring" so to speak. This means that surgical correction of the varicocele may be of no use in improving the sperm count - after all, if the varicocele is not the cause of the problem, then how will treating it help?
Doctor :   Keep in mind that varicocele surgery will result in an improvement in sperm count and motility in only about 30% of patients - and it is still not possible for the doctor to predict which patient will be helped.
Doctor :   Are you with me?
Doctor :   Did you follow what I said?
