User :   Hi, i have been told this week i have over active bladder,i was given some pills (enablex) so far no success, what other treaments are there.?

Doctor :   1) kegel exercise.
Doctor :   step one halfway through urination, try to stop or slow down the flow of urine.
Doctor :   Don't tense the muscles in your buttocks, legs, or abdomen, and don't hold your breath.
Doctor :   When you can slow or stop the flow of urine, you've successfully located these muscles.

User :   yes,,what if that doesn't work.
Doctor :   You have to do it 10 times a day.
Doctor :   I will explain the procedure.
Doctor :   1) Contract these muscles for a slow count of five.
Doctor :   2) Release the muscles to a slow count of five.

Doctor :   3) Repeat 10 times.
Doctor :  
4) Do a set of 10 Kegels daily, three times a day.
Doctor :   Do it for at lest one 2 to 3 weeks.
User :   okay, if this doesn.t work
Doctor :   Then you can go for Pelvic-floor electrical stimulation.
Doctor :   Mild electrical pulses stimulate muscle contractions. This should be done in conjunction with Kegel exercises.
