User :   Have been diagnosed with inguinal hernia. In the earlier stages of hernia development, pressing on the leg crease to prevent flow of lymph fluid into the inguinal canal would prevent hernia presentation, Fluid appears to enter the inguinal canal at a small hole just before the exterior inguinal ring right at the pubic bone. I speculate that the pressure of the lymphatic fluid into the inguinal canal has caused failure of the deep inguinal ring. Scheduled for hernia surgery Friday via abdominal incision. Do not think doctor has figured this all out. Please help!
Doctor :   hello
Doctor :   give me a min, let me read your query
Doctor :   ok to begin with let me explain that lymphatic fluid has nothing to do with inguinal hernia
Doctor :   as its not the fluid but the abdominal contents that protrude
Doctor :   may i know your age please >??
User :   65
Doctor :   do you notice the protrusion when you cough ?
User :   of course. there is a bowel loop
User :   have you ever heard of an inguinal lymphocele?
Doctor :   ok also i would like to tell you that hernia is very easily diagnosed by simple physical examination
Doctor :   yes i sure have
Doctor :   i got you
Doctor :   also surgery is the best option for hernias
Doctor :   what kind of physician you went to ?
Doctor :   a General Physician or a surgeon ?
User :   There is no doubt about the hernia. I am simply saying it developed because of inguinal lymphocele. There has been a lot of fluid in the inguinal canal. Lying on my back in the morning with the hernia not presenting, I have forced fluid into the canal and pressing on the lump produced a lot of gurgling of fluid. could move it back and forth quickly. Pressing on lymph duct in leg crease would prevent inflation or de-inflation. Have an excellent surgeon to do the surgery. Have opted for abdominal surgery instead of laparascopic due to uncertainty.
Doctor :   well its good you have full faith in your physician
Doctor :   now tell me your doubts so that i can help you
User :   If the inguinal canal/lymph system connection is not repaired, there may be further issues after surgery. Some articles I have read suggest fibrin glue to seal the lymph flow into the inguinal canal. Ending chat now. Could you please research this for me and e-mail pertinent information?
Doctor :   sure we can send you an email
User :   yes
