User :   Can a second molar cause severe sinus/temple/neck pain? On my right side I suspect that my tooth may be causing my problem as I continue to have headaches and no relief found nor issues from CT scan on sinuses
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hi
User :   I am having a continuous headache on my right side and not getting any answers. I have yet to see the dentist but plan to do so this week.
Doctor :   Yes
Doctor :   dental caries can cause sinusitis
User :   ok but my tooth is not hurting? however it is one that broke about 6 months ago and feels like it may be becoming infected or whatever. I just finished 3 weeks of antibiotics and a methaprednisone pack. No relief
Doctor :   ok
User :   Would or can this pain radiate into my throat where I have a small area that hurts as well, I wonder if this might be a swollen gland?
Doctor :   it could be
Doctor :   tell me what exactly u have now?
User :   On my right side of face lets say. My sinus cavity feels trashed, pain in my neck/trache area, my temple and at times stabbing/sharp pains in my head. My tooth is causing mild pain but the other pains are severe.
Doctor :   OK
Doctor :   Basically there is tooth pain , sinus pain and head aches
Doctor :   All of them are related
User :   yes
User :   I believe so
Doctor :   Tooth ache cause Headaches
Doctor :   Sinistiius case Headaches
Doctor :   May be the broken teeth is causing pain and thus headaches
Doctor :   I am not sure what treatment it requires.
Doctor :   I dont know whether it needs to taken out
Doctor :   You need to consult Dentist for that
User :   I suppose I will have the dentist yank the tooth out as I cannot take much more of the pain. I had been suffering this for 3 months now.
Doctor :   But broken teeth can cause chronic infection around the teeth and can cause sinistitis
Doctor :   So treating dental probelms treats alll problems
Doctor :   Yea u better do it ASAP
User :   I hope your right because it is the alternative that makes me nervous. I remember my mother complaining of her sinuses for about a year before she had a cerebral hemorrhage
User :   I am on it first thing monday. :)
Doctor :   Alright!!0000
Doctor :   Because u already used antibitics and steroids,
User :   thanks so much for letting me vent. I am tired of walking around in apanic. Sad this is that I am an RN

User :   amen!
User :   Will do!
Doctor :   Afer that use antibitics for one week
Doctor :   Ofcourse with good pain medicines
User :   :)
Doctor :   If you still continues tohave headaches, then get the CT of sinuses
