User :   I bumped my head yesterday on the bottom of the kitchen cabinet, back of my head, the left side. I didn't black out or vomited or anything.. just smarts ... hurts to lay on my left side, however today it is feeling better but sometimes it 'throbs'. Is that normal and how long will the bump last? I am pregnant so I can only take Tylenol. I am scared though.....I haven't bumped my head in years.
Doctor :   Hello.
User :   hello
User :   I am not sure if you can see my question above?
Doctor :   I can see.
Doctor :   Let me read it.
User :   ok thanks :)
Doctor :   Can you see visible swelling?
User :   No.
User :   My hair is pretty long. The bump seems to be small because I can't feel much of it but there is just a little throbbing pain from time to time. Not bad pain though.
Doctor :   Do you have any other associated symptoms?
User :   nope.
Doctor :   like blurring of vision, nausea, etc.
User :   nope. none of that , thankfully.
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   Then you need worry.
User :   huh?
Doctor :   I meant not worry.
User :   oh ok. So a little throbbing is normal with a bump?
User :   goose egg or whatever other terms are?
Doctor :   The pain may last only one or two days.
User :   how long do bumps usually last?
Doctor :   It will last only 2 to 3 days.
Doctor :   If its persists longer you can contact your gynecologist.
User :   okay :) Thank you very much for your help.
User :   I am less scared now. Just hate this bump.
Doctor :   It then you can keep some hot compression on the area.
User :   so a hot shower should help too?
Doctor :   Yes,
User :   thank you very much for helping me
Doctor :   Is there any thing else.
User :   no. Thank you again for helping me put my fears at ease.
User :   have a fantastic weekend :) again thank you.
Doctor :   You are welcome.
