User :   Hi there, i am getting serious cramp in my left arm and hand whilst lunging a horse an activity i have only recently started, the problem occurs whilst holding and using the lunge whip in the left hand only after a few minutes the arm and hand cramp and stiffen up and i basically drop the whip,it becomes so weak, this does not happen in the right hand (i am right handed). why is this happening and is there anything i can do to help correct this, many thanks

User :   i am 33 years old this has only just started since doing this activity last 2 months

User :   arm is moved in a side to side moyion

User :   i have had cervix removed
Doctor :   a MRI will detec any nerve iimpingment

User :   could this not just be a weak left arm
Doctor :   weakness arises either due to defect in the nerv e or the muscle
Doctor :   muscle weakness will have crampy pain and spsm

User :   so would not be the fact that i rarely use the left in this way
