User :   well here is the 23 years old and have had little or no period since september i went to my gyn and he told me just to feel lucky...he did do a pap which came back a low abnormal he said. then he said just to come back in three months is this normal

User :   im on nothing now...

Doctor :   Have you ruled out Pregnancy or An Ectopic one at least
User :   my primary care dr ran blood work on me and said my female hormones was low...and he thought i had a cyst....just by feeling on my stomach...he was not sure though

User :   no illnesses and im 5 foot 5 inches and 129 pounds
Doctor :   A common cause of amenorrhea or irregular periods is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
User :   is that anything to be worried with?
Doctor :   do you have any long, coarse hair on your face, chest, lower abdomen, back, upper arms or upper legs (hirsutism)

Doctor :   Have you got the Ultrasound scan Of the Abdomen done and What are the results if yes
User :   gyn hasnt done anything but a pap he just told me to feel lucky for not having it

Doctor :   I would suggest you to get that done since if you are having any Cysts in the Abdomen(Ovaries) that can hamper the Normal Hormone Release and and

Doctor :   another thing that needs to be ruled out in theUSG would be Ectopic pregnancy
Doctor :   Which would also cause the Missed periods and there will be elevated HCG levels
Doctor :   But you would not have the New one Growing in the Uterus a hence there may not be any Normal Uterine Symptoms

User :   one more primary care dr says on the xrays he took
User :   i had scoliosis..just a slight curve going to the right...did nothing else or said nothing else...should that be a problem for me?
Doctor :   No it would not be in Conception But at the Time of delivery there might Be some Hindered in the Passage of the Baby but then the Extent will need to be
Doctor :   seen and that will be fine after that
