User :   i am diabetic fastig suger 188, cholesterol 192,hdl 46,ldl 111, vldl 34 and triglycerides 171. At present i am taking Tripride2 and Volix .2mg twicw a day.please advise me.

Doctor :   there is a test called HbA1C
Doctor :   this will tell you if the sugar were under control for the previous 3 months.
Doctor :   based on the values, your physician will review the dose.
Doctor :   along with this a strict diet and physical exercise is compulsory to get the sugars to normal.
Doctor :   the goal is to keep the fasting sugar below 120 mg/dl and post prandial below 140mg/dl
Doctor :   in a diabetic patient.

Doctor :   the follow up should be regular, every 6 months atleast and you must check your sugars often
