User :   I am a 50 yr male under medication for hypertension. I took a Treadmill Stress Test today. I had not taken my BP medication for > 24 hrs prior to test. At the end of the test which went on for about 9 mins, I was informed that the results were normal. However, I was told that I achieved Target Heart Rate in 6 mins when I should have reached it in about 9 mins. What should I infer from the above?
Doctor :   Hi
User :   Hi

Doctor :   I am Dr AAAAAAA
User :   I am AAAAAAA

Doctor :   May I know your height and weight for better advise ?
User :   I am 167 cms tall and 76 kgs heavy..
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   Your BMI is a bit above normal , You are Overwieght.

Doctor :   Your heart rate is Higher than average Fitness - Vigorous exercise and is fine for your age .
Doctor :   It should have been 145-150 , a bit slihgtly higher but I would say fine for your age and considering your weight
User :   I walk at a brisk pace (measures around 6.2 km/hr on a treadmill) for about 35 - 40 mins twice por thrice a week on an average
Doctor :   I would suggest you to cut down your body weight by at least 7-8 kgs and that itself would work wonders for your TMT next time.
Doctor :   Your BMI Stnds at 27.3 and has to come to 24.
User :   Thanks. Is there anything else that I should consider pls?
Doctor :   Yes, I feel the exxercise regimen is fine.
Doctor :   How about your diet ?
Doctor :   Also please try to take the walk more often, like 5-6 days a week.
User :   I am a vegetarian with a rare helping of an egg ( once in 3 /4 months ?). Have a liking for rice and so consciously try to reduce rice intake. Try to avoid fried foods and increase fruits intake.
Doctor :   That is great, Please try to restrict salty diet which might be more helpful on weight reduction and take more of fiber rich diets like fresh veggies, sprouts and more protein-vitamn-mineral rich doet rather than carb. rich which you are alrady doing.
Doctor :   Please try to restrict yourself to raw diet for one month and try to cut down the required weight.
User :   Thanks Doc. It was gr8 chatting with you
Doctor :   But never starve yourself.
Doctor :   Do you have anything else to ask ?
User :   No thanks
