User :   had a t.b.i. a year ago. mri on 9/8/10 showed periventricular white disease surrounding right frontal horn. what does this mean and is it relate to t.b.i. still have headaches, memory issues, sleepy all the time and balance issues and feel stupid. also showed tiny cavum septum pellicidum and fetal origin of rt.parenchyma and left posterior communicating artery fainty seen. small syrinx c6-c7

User :   yes slipped getting out of a truck on wet floor and struck back of head and neck on running boards of truck as my body was going to floor creating major whiplash and then bounced back of head on ground

User :   went to wellcare center and downplayed as neck strain
Doctor :   Were you unconscious after the incident ?

Doctor :   ok, can you read me the MRI/CAT scan done after the incident ?
User :   cat scan negative, Mri findings I posted above
Doctor :   periventricular white disease,left posterior communicating artery haze can be expected complications of TBI and the symptoms are congruent
User :   what does congruent mean?
Doctor :   means the symptoms are typical to the MRI findings
User :   and related to t.b.i.

User :   I don't know why neuro said it was unremarkable mri and I think he has been manipulated by work comp
Doctor :   the findings in MRI can be expected complications and the symptoms are very typical
Doctor :   go for a second opinion ( neuro )
