Doctor :   hi
User :   Hello there,
I have been suffering from these annoying tonsil stones for 3 years now. When I get them my ear hurts intensely deep within it, my tonsils will bleed slightly, and my tonsils hurts terribly until they are removed. Yesterday I saw one ripping my tonsil skin so I helped reposition it and remove it. Immediately when removed my tonsil bled and quite a bit. However my tonsil felt waaaay better and the pain in my ear stopped. This is how it always goes however. I called the nurses hot line and they said they had no idea what I was talking about. So I thought I would ask if tonsil stones mean that there is a tonsillectomy necessary. PLEASE HELP!
Doctor :   how can i help you
Doctor :   let me go throguh
Doctor :   *through
User :   who should I see about this?
Doctor :   what is your age?
User :   18
Doctor :   what did your physician said about your condition
Doctor :   did he gave any title for your condition
User :   well I spoke with a nurse and she said she did not know but a friend had them and they were called cryptic tonsils and she got hers removed
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   Are you getting frequent fever episodes because of them ?
User :   no
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   it depends on the symptoms you get
User :   my ears just hurt extremely bad until they are removed and my tonisl will feel like strep
Doctor :   if you get annoyed by them frequently it is better to go for removal which is a minor surgery called tonsillectomy which is done under general anesthesia
Doctor :   otherwise there is no harm in ignoring them

Doctor :   it depends on the symptoms you get
