User :   I have 2 strings of tissue growth attached to my upper gum and lip. had it for 3 days now. what is that? i also noticed a small lump on the back of my throat on the left side.
I also have crazy aches on the right side of my neck + temple.
My bladder hurts when its full.
and lastly... my back has been hurting a lot lately and today i gave it a good feel. I found a lump on the bottom right back about an inch from my spine about the size of a quarter. I can move it around as well.
Help please im scared to death with all these problems at once.
Doctor :   hi
User :   Hey
Doctor :   Dr. XXXXXXXX here. Let me read what you have typed
User :   Hi DrXXX. Okay, thanks.
Doctor :   Let us solve one problem at a time.
User :   I just thought i would add i have an inguinal hernia. My doctor and the emergency room said i was constipated.. but when i saw the specialist he said they are ' dumb ' and the pain i was having in my intestine was cuz of the hernia. So thats why im here. I dont trust my doctor.
User :   But yeah.. im just flipping out because all these problems have popped up since the past 2 months ( i quit smoking marijuana about 3 months ago )
Doctor :   1) 2 strings of tissue growth attached to my upper gum and lip for last 3 days with small lump on the back of throat on the left side- This could be a tonsil infection or upper palate infection. This has to be examined by a dental surgeon or oral surgeon and get treated with antibiotic or minor procedure to take off the strings.
User :   Okay I will see a dentist tomorrow.
Doctor :   2) crazy aches on the right side of my neck + temple- Again this could be related to the oropharyngeal infection that needs a thorough examination and treatment. It will be fine.
Doctor :   3) My bladder hurts when its full- you might be starting with mild UTI, drink plenty of water to help flush out the infection, avoid alcohol, and empty bladder often
User :   Okay. just to add to 3. Im only 22. and at 20 i had prostate inflimiation 3 times that year. nothing though since then.
User :   maybe my prostate is possibly acting up again too?
Doctor :   4) back hurting a lot with a movable lump: Could be a muscle spasm associated, if you have felt good with massage, it is probably a muscular sprain. It will go away with topical muscle relaxant cream and gentle massage
Doctor :   5) with the recent update of prostate, the bladder fullness hurting could be due to enlarged prostrate. Get a re-examination done with PSA test (blood test) and an ultrasound.
User :   Well now that ive felt the lump.. im too scared to massage that area. the right side is about the size of a quarter and on the left i can feel one that also moves about the size of a dime
Doctor :   to confirm cause
Doctor :   if the lump does not hurt to touch, then leave it alone. if it is soft, it could also be a lipoma (benign fat tumor, harmless)
User :   it does seem like the lumps are soft but im afraid to push/move them around too much
User :   Is it possible that the lipoma ( if thats what it is ) is causing my back pains?
Doctor :   6) your inguinal hernia problem should be examined by a general surgeon or a gastroenterologist to see if it is uncomplicated and can be pushed back or it is complicated and requires correction surgically to put it back and make sure it does not happen again
Doctor :   7) if the lipoma is next to any nerve, or directly over any muscle, it could lead to pain.
User :   Is there any way to get rid of the lipoma without surgery?
User :   and i actually saw a gastreonterologist on monday. ive already had the burning pains for about a month but now its gone as far as i can tell. He said the pain will probably come and go in the future but he said if the pain goes away within the next 2 weeks ( which it did ) to ignore it.
Doctor :   ok.
Doctor :   so lipoma cannot be got rid of without surgery
Doctor :   it is a minor procedure
Doctor :   not a major surgery
User :   Okay.
Doctor :   take the above suggested steps
User :   Yup will do.
Doctor :   and start with treatment to solve your symptoms
User :   Thanks Dr XXX
Doctor :   is there anything else I can help you with?
User :   Nope that is al. thanks.
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me. Bye for now.
