User :   did my thyroid tests the day before - t3 & t4 are in the normal range but tsh is 7.5
User :   so am i hypothroid or getting there?

User :   am feeling tired the whole day, have put on around 8 kgs in the last 10 odd months (my lifestyle has also changed to be more sedentary, due to a new job), hair loss on & off

User :   no, just got the results yesterday
User :   also, am working & come home very late, with a lot of travelling, so kept putting this down to erratic lifestyle

Doctor :   Yes it is important for you to check, though the complete symptomtology and the test reports are pointing towards it

Doctor :   But there are few things to be checked on examination
Doctor :   like pulse rate, neck examination
User :   also have had palpitations in the last couple of weeks was checking my pulse the other day, the pulse was erratic in volume, sometimes feeble, sometimes bounding, also i thought I was missing a couple of beats, esp when the beat was feeble

User :   we buy tata iodised salt, any iodine rich supplements that you can suggest, i am vegetarian

User :   do you think palpitations are on account of this - I thought they were more of a hyperthyroid symptom

Doctor :   TSH can change depending on many parametres
Doctor :   stress, menstruation, weight gain etc
User :   having my periods now, 3rd day - does this impact?
