User :   Hi, i'm 24 yrs old and i'm getting lefthand pain from shoulder till fingers.I consulted a general physician and he doubted it might be spondalites.Can you suggest me on this.

User :   i'm working as a software engineer from past 3 years
User :   i have brought few heavy things to home continuosly 2 days,from the next day i'm getting hand pain severely..
Doctor :   Is the pain associated with any burning, itching, numbness of fingers or reduced sensation?
User :   i thought i must have slept on tat hand overnite
User :   i don't feel any itching or burning sensation ..but tingling in fingers numbeness for few seconds..and aftr some time it become alrite
Doctor :   Is there any other symptoms present? Is the pain periodic or continuous?
User :   i took pain killer and massaged smoothly with pain relief it has become reduced and when i slept and getup again i'm feeling pain
Doctor :   Pain can bu due to various causes as any injury, overuse of muscles, strain, ligament injury or diseases like Spondylitis.
User :   it's been 3 days now...and now i'm not feeling any pain.but i want to know the reason behind it and want to know the symptoms of the spondalites
Doctor :   Are you following a proper posture during your working hours as you are having desktop job and that may be an additional factor for it.
Doctor :   Spondylitis occurs when the C5 and C6 nerve that is the nerve supplying the cervical area is compressed and causes radiating pain in the nerve supplying the arm also.
User :   yeah it might be the factor...i usually don't sit straight infront of my desktop...some times..recently i have changed my seating chair which is more comfortable than the old one
User :   ok..wat are the symptoms for that..
Doctor :   It can present with pain, tingling, numbness, burning , on and off pain which is aggravated by postural adjustments.

Doctor :   1)Do Hot water bag fomentation 3 times a day

Doctor :   3)Sit in a proper posture.
User :   means back straight rite?
Doctor :   4)Take breaks while working in computer

Doctor :   5)You can go for Physiotherapy exercises as they help in relieving you the symptoms and also will tell you the exercises that can be done at home.
Doctor :   6)Get a Cervical X ray done to see the cause of it.
Doctor :   Regular exercises can help you in controlling it.
User :   ok we have to ask specifiacally for Cervical Xray?
